Marline Russell

Marline relocated to Atlanta in 2001, at arrival she quickly realized that there was a need for a self-sufficiency program, which she founded called Georgia Works, INC, a non-profit organization.

Throughout this program, an annual fundraiser, was held of indie artists who graced the stage for music executives called “Out The Trunk” Benefit Concert! This led to her returning back to school to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in the Entertainment Business and shortly after completed an MBA.

Marline is the founder / owner of Life Gem Productions, LLC  and worked on some notable films such as Uncle Drew, Black Panther, Remedy and more.  Today LGP has recently produced an Award winning documentary titled “The Switch”, which is a look into the lives / policies of those who have crossed over political parties lines and how it affects African Americans who vote Democrat, Republican and Independent.

Marline’s current mission is to relaunch the image and goals of the organization which would continue the path of educating, encouraging and inspiring others. Be on the lookout for her and Life Gem Productions, LLC in the near future.
